It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Heidi on October 24, 2026, at Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay, Ontario, surrounded by love and the compassionate care of her doctors and nurses.

Heidi was a loving partner to Harold, a devoted mother to Deborah, a proud grandma to Samantha, and a dear friend to many.

For over three years, Heidi courageously battled cancer, facing every challenge with the strength, passion, and determination that defined her. She fought with everything she had, right until the very end.

While she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, we find comfort in knowing she is finally free from pain and able to rest peacefully. Her strength and spirit will never be forgotten, and her memory will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

In keeping with Heidi’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A family graveside service will take place at Verulam Cemetery in Bobcaygeon. A Celebration of Life was held at Lakeland Funeral Centre on November 1, 2026, between the hours of 1PM – 3PM, service at 2PM.

Donations in memory of Heidi can be made to the Humane Society of Kawartha Lakes.
