Entered into rest at Caressant Care McLaughlin on Thursday, October 22, 2026 at the age of 94. Beloved husband of Dorothy (née Down) for 74 years of marriage. Loving father of Stephen (Marsha), Trevor (Sandra), Kevin (Deborah) and Timothy. Cherished grandfather of Beckie, Trevor, Jennifer, Alexandria, Robert, Jason, Tyler, the late Miles, and Andria, as well as a treasured great-grandfather. Lloyd enjoyed music and had a passion for carpentry and worked as a carpenter at General Motors. Predeceased by his parents, Orval and Gladys Calhoun, and siblings, Owen Calhoun (Marilyn) (the late Linda) and Lois Welch (Larry). Lloyd will be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Visitation took place at the Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay on Tuesday, October 27th from 12:00pm until time of funeral service at 1:00pm. A light luncheon followed. Interment will take place at a later date at Centenary Cemetery, Roseneath. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation to the Ross Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
