It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden loss of Mark McConnell, who passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at the age of 66. Beloved husband of the late Ann McConnell (2021). Mark is survived by his loving children; sons, Leo and Cody (Jess), and daughter; Maggie McConnell. Mark will be forever remembered by his partner, Josie Darby.

Dear brother to the late Tim McConnell (1986) and survived by his sisters Margaret, Colleen, Marianne, and sister-in-law Annette Knall. He was predeceased by his parents Reginald McConnell (1998) and Mary (2011). Remembered by his grand cats; the late Kiree, Mittens, Beung, and Maxxie.

A Celebration of Life will take place at the Royal Canadian Legion, 23 Veterans Way, Fenelon Falls on Friday, September 25th from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Words of remembrance will be held at 3:30pm. If desired, memorial donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society, or the Humane Society of Kawartha Lakes.

Arrangements have been entrusted to JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION & TRIBUTE CENTRE, 8 Princes' St. W., Fenelon Falls, 705-887-3130. Staff will be on-site during the celebration of life to assist with any donations by cheque only.
