Verna Lucille McPhail (nee Wagner), passed away peacefully in her 101st year, on August 23, 2026 in Lindsay, Ontario. Born on April 20, 1926 to the late Lewis Wagner and Myrtle (Luke) Wagner of Epsom. She was the wife of the late Charles McPhail (1997) and the late Harold B. Wilson (2009). Beloved mother of the late Keith (Joan, Arlene) Wilson, the late Ralph (Arlene) Wilson, Brian (Marie) Wilson and Lois Wilson. She will be remembered by her grandchildren Darren, David, Cheryl, Craig, Shelley, Dianne, Mark and Carolyn. Great-grandmother of 13 and Great-great-grandmother of 7. Verna was predeceased by her sisters Dorothy (Noble) and Evelyn (Richardson) and her brothers Lorne, Fred and Frank Wagner. The family extends their thanks to Caressant Care, Lindsay, for their excellent care of Mom. A private burial has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, Oct. 3rd at Celebrations, Lindsay, 35 Lindsay St. North, Lindsay, Ontario. Visitation at 12:00 p.m., Service at 12:30, with lunch to follow. Memorial donations may be made to Ross Memorial Hospital.
