Degrassi stars coming to Lindsay for special movie screening

Pat Mastroianni and Stacie Mistysyn from Degrassi High and Degrassi the Next Generation are coming to Lindsay this October for a special screening of Degrassi: School’s Out (the final Degrassi High movie).

The screening will be followed by a live, in-person Q&A with stars Mastroianni, who played Joey Jeremiah and Mistysyn who played Caitlin Ryan.

Over the 38 years that it aired, Degrassi High was broadcast in 40 different countries and won a staggering amount of awards including Emmys, Geminis, and Canadian Screen Awards.

Degrassi was the show that dared to face the challenges facing youth without holding back. It became a cultural phenomenon that still holds a vast fanbase for its raw and realistic depiction of teen life.

The screening will take place on Oct. 17 at I.E Weldon.

The screening is for all ages and has  general limited seating. Each ticket includes entry to the movie, attendance to the Q&A, as well as 1 free regular popcorn and drink.
